Grandmaster Ronald Suggs traveled to South Korea in early May, 2009 to be tested at the Kukkiwon. Grandmaster Suggs, who was already a 8th Dan Taekwondo Jidokwan sought promotion to 8th Dan Kukkiwon. Yesterday I received an email from him that the Kukkiwon has promoted him to 8th Dan.
While in Korea, Grandmaster Suggs was honored by the Kukkiwon with a Letter of Commendation for his efforts of self-sacrifice to bring about the development of Taekwondo as well as an Achievement Plaque from Taekwondo Jidokwan. Also Grandmaster Suggs had the opportunity to meet with his instructor, Supreme Grandmaster Lee, Chong Woo. Grandmaster Lee, Chong Woo is my grandmaster and one of the key figures in Taekwondo's formation and existence.

John McCrackin & Mike Fenske Promoted
Master John McCrackin & Master Mike Fenske have been promoted to 5th Dan Taekwondo Jidokwan. Both have dedicated many years to Taekwondo through participation and as instructors. Each brings his own unique contribution to Taekwondo.
