ATF Pool Party / BBQ

All members of American Taekwondo & Fitness are invited to attend
The 2nd Annual ATF Pool Party/BBQ Extravaganza

All family, boyfriends, girlfriends are all welcome

• When : Saturday, August 15th
  
• Time : After morning Taekwondo class. Sometime around 11:00am - 12:00pm
  
• Where : John McCrackin's House
  
• What to bring : There is a sign-up sheet at the dojang.
  Otherwise just a towel, suit, and whatever you wish to drink.

Grandmaster Suggs Promoted

Grandmaster Ronald Suggs traveled to South Korea in early May, 2009 to be tested at the Kukkiwon. Grandmaster Suggs, who was already a 8th Dan Taekwondo Jidokwan sought promotion to 8th Dan Kukkiwon. Yesterday I received an email from him that the Kukkiwon has promoted him to 8th Dan.

While in Korea, Grandmaster Suggs was honored by the Kukkiwon with a Letter of Commendation for his efforts of self-sacrifice to bring about the development of Taekwondo as well as an Achievement Plaque from Taekwondo Jidokwan. Also Grandmaster Suggs had the opportunity to meet with his instructor, Supreme Grandmaster Lee, Chong Woo. Grandmaster Lee, Chong Woo is my grandmaster and one of the key figures in Taekwondo's formation and existence.
